Camp Bliss is a Unique Retreat and Vacation Destination

Camp Bliss, year-round wheelchair accessible retreat and vacation destination nestled on 48-acres of stately pines and hardwood forest on Long Lake, Lake 3 and Lake 4 in northern Minnesota is available for private rentals, weekend getaways, special occasions, vacations, conferences, holidays and weddings. Lodging options, accessible for all abilities, offer year-round accommodations. Private rentals support low or no cost specialty retreats and getaways for Veterans and people with disabilities.

Rustic Lodge sleeps 23 people; private bedrooms, spacious lofts, comfortable sleeper sofas and large bunkroom. Amazing lodge includes bathrooms with accessible roll-in showers.

    Socialization & Wellness For All With Disabilities

    April 26-28, 2024

     

    Come and learn new ways to socialize, improve your skills, and learn how to take great care of yourself!  This retreat welcomes anyone with any type of disability. 

    The total cost for the weekend is $75, if you bring your own PCA, there’s an additional charge of $50, and the PCA will need to register separately for this retreat.

    This retreat includes lodging, all meals, beverages, and class materials.

    What to bring: weather appropriate clothing, medications, blanket, pillow, towels, personal water bottle and anything else you will need for the weekend. 

    Transportation to and from Camp Bliss is offered from our Sauk Rapids location for an additional charge of $20. Otherwise, you are responsible for your own transportation.

    We need to receive your registration by Friday, March 29, 2024.

    Female Veterans Getaway

    We appreciate the women who have served our country. We are excited to welcome you to the serene and supportive setting of Camp Bliss! Join us for an empowering getaway and unite with fellow women, rejuvenate in nature, and take part in activities tailored just for you. Let us celebrate your spirit, resilience, and journey and connect with other female Veterans. 

    Enjoy the beauty of 48 acres of incredible pine and hardwood forest in a breathtaking

    north woods setting on three lakes! There are 10 available spots for veterans that are first-come-first serve basis, we will also have a waiting list. Please commit fully to attending your retreat, if you do not show up, that is a Veteran’s spot that you have eliminated. 

    All our Getaways & Retreats are alcohol free.

    **We will not be charging a registration fee for Veteran Getaways for the next two years, as we have secured funding from the MDVA. You may come up to two retreats per year!**

    Veterans Turkey Hunt Getaway

    Veterans welcome to our annual Turkey Hunt! All hunters are required to have a valid Minnesota turkey license and will be partnered with a volunteer caller. You will stay at Camp Bliss where all your lodging and meals are provided. Come and enjoy the beauty of 48 acres of incredible pine and hardwood forest in a breathtaking north woods setting on three lakes! 

    There are 10 available spots for veterans that are first-come-first serve basis, we will also have a waiting list. Please commit fully to attending your retreat, if you do not show up, that is a Veteran’s spot that you have eliminated. 

    All our Getaways & Retreats are alcohol free.

Summer and Winter

Camp Bliss is open year round. Enjoy fishing on three scenic lakes or famous Leech Lake just five miles away. Take in the thrill of kayaking, paddle boarding or canoeing, hit the road on the many biking or hiking trails or relax around an open camp fire. Winter fun includes ice fishing, snowshoeing, sledding and winter hiking. Shopping options are abundant in Walker, MN. Come up north and find your BLISS!

Private Rentals

Camp Bliss is available for family vacations and reunions, corporate retreats, company parties, weddings or just escaping the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Rent the spacious Lodge, luxury Bliss House, romantic Cabin, Glamping Cabins, or BIG events center. Something for everyone!
